33 ASR Teletype (c1968)

100 words per minute, 8 level ASCII coding, 110 Baud, 4 row Automatic Send and Receive, 101C Dataset, Bell System dial TeletypeWriter eXchange (TWX) service. 4 row teletypewriters were deployed with their own switched network, called Wide Area Data Service (WADS) which was separate from the national DDD network. A few 33 ASRs are still in service today as simple ASCII terminals re-connected to the DDD network as "DataPhone Teletypes."
